Check out the left margin! We want to know what you'd like to see us do in 2008. We are working hard to cater to our clients in 2008. This could mean that we will come TO YOUR HOME or a location of your choice for sessions and ordering appointments. Why? You don't have to get your kids out to drive to the studio for a shoot, we know many of you are driving 30+ miles, sometimes many more! In-Home sessions are more personal and intimate and it lets your family's personality really show through, besides you never know what cool locations you might have just around your house! You family is much more comfortable in their own environment and that makes a world of difference in your portraits! We shoot mostly on-location anyways and we are always looking for new places! If you would like studio shots we can bring our set up to you! Why have in-home ordering appointments? We have been doing this a lot lately and it helps us to see where you are wanting to display your portraits in your home. We can then suggest sizing, grouping and other display options that work best for YOUR home. It really takes the guesswork out of choosing the right portraits and sizes for the space you have and we know that you'd be much happier this way. Let us know what you think! We are working on updating our website with the 2008 pricing and portrait collections as well as new options for you to choose from..can't wait to show you what we've been up to at the studio!!

Playing Catch Up..

So I have been sick with the flu since late Sunday night and I am now playing catch up today in between trying to rest and take care of my little one, who has also not been feeling too well. So, forgive me if you have left a message at the studio ...I will be venturing up there today and will return your calls ASAP. One of My Wild Child

I bought this super cute hat for Emmagail last week and have been trying to get a good shot of her in it..this weekend this is the closest I could get..my wild child kept pulling it off or runing away..she thought it was pretty funny..I on the other hand have concluded that for the time being I can photograph any other child BUT my own..:) Enjoy the one shot of my baby.

Boys Will Be Boys...

On Sunday I went out to Garrett's house and we got to play in the mud. How fun is that!? It was so nice we thought we'd get a jump on his birthday portraits. These will make fun decor for his room. We will be running "A Day In The Life" specials this spring and summer so remember to call and schedule your time to document what your child loves to do! Anyways, I have to tell you this little story about the last picture in this series...Garrett and I were talking..he said he could see my eye (inside the lens when I took each picture..hehe.) and I asked what color it was, he said "Black." and I said, "Are you sure look again"..so he came closer trying to look inside the lens and said "Quit clicking that button!." I guess he just couldn't concentrate! HA! Kids are so funny!! Just thought you'd like to hear his story..here are a few from our day..

Emmagail is 13 Months!

I know she looks a little overdressed for the weather we have been having, but I just couldn't put her in a dress in January! :) I can't wait until Spring, but I think this is the last time I can have a shoot with Emmagail by myself..I am going to call in reinforcements next time, she just thinks it's too funny to run in any direction that is away from me. Funny, but not when mommy is trying to take some nice portraits. LOL! So, here is what I did catch of her yesterday when we went outside to play..man is she fast!
